Anthony (Tony) Spera, Native Italian, Navy Verteran and dedicated family man introduced Spera’s Meat Market to the local Cicero community on February 2, 1982. His mission, provide good food for his friends and family no matter what hard times come along.
Inspired by traditional Italian butcher shops he visited as a child and supported by a loyal following, Tony decided the best way to accomplish his mission was to open a family owned, customer focused meat market that provides families good food everyday.
Three generations later Spera’s Meat Market continues to grow while instilling Tony’s mission. People travel from around New York State to experience the Spera vision and ensure their families are well fed.
